Wildlife and landscape artist
Chris Rose specialises in paintings of wildlife, particularly birds, in their habitats. Working mainly in oils and acrylics his paintings are inspired by the colours and patterns found in natural landscapes. Working in a realistic style his paintings are often underpinned by abstract shapes.
For this year’s virtual Bird fair he has produced a number of small, affordable works for sale at £350 or less. During the Covid-19 lockdown common garden birds have provided an inspiration and his ‘Birds at the bird bath’ series has proved extremely popular. These works are being sold unframed for ease of posting and exclude postage and packaging costs (UK deliveries typically less than £10). In addition there is a handful of larger, framed works on sale.
In addition he has a wide range of limited edition giclée prints and greetings cards available to purchase through his website.
