Birding choices – Patch for the Planet! by Nick Moran
What a decade of low-carbon patch birding revealed about my local birds.
There’s no escaping the fact that birding can be a resource-intensive activity – particularly if it involves extensive motorised travel. How can we enjoy the hobby without creating a huge carbon footprint in the process? Nick looks at how birding locally – and recording everything in the process – can be incredibly rewarding and reveal some surprising changes, even in the space of a few years.
This recording will be available on Friday 21st August and for 3 months afterwards.
