Virtual Birdfair 2020 is screening The Last Song of the Nightingale, a magnificent new documentary by Katie Stacey and Luke Massey.
In this video Jamie Wyver finds out from the couple what inspired the making of the film. He also discovers the story behind the scenes: is a recipe designed to feed Nightingales tasty for people too, and where do you buy the tailfin of a World War II bomber? and Katie and Luke reflect on the causes of the Nightingale’s decline and how we might conserve these special birds on the UK.
